“Puketai”

At Puketai we have high teaching standards and ākonga have a high degree of achievement enabling them to experience success regularly. We structure learning here to best encourage a thirst for learning. Our goal is to engage ākonga in education through individual programmes along with a trauma informed approach.

We encourage community involvement with a variety of members from the wider community voluntarily sharing their skills with ākonga.

Our ākonga leave Kingslea School with skills and strategies to be able to thrive in the next steps of their journey.
